How the bid simulation works

The simulator uses a modified bid-volume curve model based on Google Ads auction dynamics.

Bid elasticity model

Higher bids win more auctions, increasing impression share and clicks. Lower bids lose auctions. The model uses a non-linear elasticity curve: a 20% bid increase typically yields 15–25% more clicks, not a linear 1:1 ratio.

Conversion rate stability

Your conversion rate stays roughly constant across bid scenarios (it depends on your landing page and audience, not your bid). More clicks at the same CVR = proportionally more conversions.

Optimal bid = best ROAS

The optimal scenario is the one with the highest ROAS — meaning you're getting the best return for every euro of ad spend. This may not be the highest revenue scenario, but it is the most efficient.
