What Is Google Ads Sync?
Your campaigns, keywords, and performance metrics don't automatically appear in AdPredictor. We need to fetch them from Google Ads periodically. That's what sync does.
How Often Does Sync Happen?

What Gets Synced?
- Campaign names, budgets, and status
- Ad group structure
- Ads (headlines, descriptions, landing pages)
- Keywords (bids, match types, Quality Scores)
- Daily performance: impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, conversion value
- Search terms (what people actually searched)
Sync Status & Monitoring
In Settings → Google Ads, you'll see:
- Last synced: When we last pulled your data
- Next sync: When the next automatic sync will happen
- Status: Connected ✓, Syncing ⟳, Error ✗

Important: Each account is completely isolated. Your data from one account is never mixed with another.
Data Security During Sync
- OAuth (not passwords): We never store your Google Ads password
- Encrypted transport: Data travels over HTTPS only
- Encrypted storage: Your data is encrypted at rest
- Access control: Only your account can see your data
- No third parties: We never share your data with anyone
What If Sync Fails?
Common causes:
- Google Ads account permissions changed
- OAuth token expired
- Temporary Google Ads API outage
What to do:
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account
- Still broken? Contact support with your account name and when it last worked

Why is my data "1 day old" when I have Professional plan?
Data freshness depends on Google Ads' reporting delay. Sometimes Google takes up to 24 hours to finalize metrics. We sync as soon as data is available.
Can you sync Bing Ads / Facebook Ads / TikTok Ads?
We currently specialize in Google Ads. Other platforms are on the roadmap.
Can I see incomplete data?
Occasionally. Google doesn't finalize all metrics until up to 24 hours later. We show you what's available and update as it comes in.
